Audio Documentaries:
Joe Jackson Kids:
Nigerian-born, UK-based producer Teck-Zilla jumps back on the scene with Joe Jackson Kids, a
new instrumental tribute project full of slappers, head-nodders, and ridiculous Jackson 5 sample
flips.
Of course, the voice and spirit of Michael Jackson run through the veins of this ten-track effort,
whether that’s on the bass-rich “Letter to Michael,” or the absolutely bananas, but short-lived
“Outro View.” It also features snippets of interviews with the late musical legend, whose words
build a narrative amidst the chopped-up samples.
And then there’s the instant highlight “Human Nature,” which goes beyond simply turning
Jackson’s track of the same name on its head. Teck-Zilla weaved in bits from select Illmatic jams
to flesh it out into what sounds like a fully realized song. And for those unfamiliar, Illmatic
standout “It Ain’t Hard to Tell” features a “Human Nature” flip by Large Professor, so it’s only
right that Teck-Zilla paid homage.
Son Of Sade :
An 8-track instrumental EP that pays homage to the legendary UK singer. A solid blend of her
soulful, uplifting vocals, Jazzy backdrops, Afro rhythms plus that good ol' boom bap.
Afro J.E.T.S Club Project:
Audio quasi-documentary on Africa's political and musical past spliced with hard-edged hip-hop
beats. No lyrics just snippets of great people who made huge strides for Africa like Nkrumah,
Fela Kuti, MKO Abiola, Sunny Ade, Patrice Lumumba, Nnamdi Azikiwe et al.
Fela & Ginger Baker: Live! Remix:
Society HAE and Str8buttah Productions presents… “Fela Kuti + Ginger Baker: LIVE!
Remixed,” the second of a series of mixtape collaborations with African artists, the first being
the AFRIKA21 Mixtape Vol. 3 produced by Spoek Mathambo.
“Fela Kuti + Ginger Baker: LIVE! Remixed” is produced by Teck-Zilla of Str8buttah
Productions and combines snippets of rare interviews with Fela, Ginger Baker and Fela’s
musicians with sound bites and remixes of the live recordings from his 1971 “LIVE!” album,
which featured Africa70 and Ginger Baker. Original soundscapes by Teck-Zilla are also present
on the DocuMixtape’s featured tracks.
End Sars Beats:
An instrumental project inspired by the tragic events of the EndSARS protest that occurred in
Lagos, Nigeria, on the 12th of October, 2020.
Music Producer/Recording Engineer
Maka: Moments In Motion EP and “Precious Stone”
Collaborative releases as a producer/Mix engineer,Arranger
“Prezzy Bomaye” with Northern Nigerian rapper President Zik. A joint project is on the
horizon.
‘Lightbulb Over My Head While I’m Thinking’ with Kentucky artist Allen Poe:
A vintage look at life (be it general or personal) through sepia tone, laid-back soundscapes.
Each track length is purposely short to keep things dense and urgent while engaging the listener
with dope beats and arresting lyrics.
“One Continent” with various African artists
The track aims to give the world a piece of what Africa has to offer in the world of hip-hop and
even though Afrobeats is the raving genre at the moment, we rappers have something to say and
everybody must listen.
B-Boy Zilla 1, 2 and 3
A series of instrumentals made specifically for African break dancers. The instrumentals blend
classic drum breaks with Afro-pop sounds.
This is Afrobreak Music, Volume 1
Instrumental project that blends classic drum breaks with Ghanaian highlife music.
Away With Words
Joint EP with Cornwall, UK-based rapper/songwriter Mogal

Role: DJ/Music producer/Speaker
The idea behind the event is first, to foster a community-driven initiative that will
utilize the gains of Hip-Hop, to develop minds, sanitize societal irregularities, and
help raise the hopes and beliefs of Hip-Hop stakeholders who believe that the
culture is gradually dying in this part of the world. It is also to help educate
everyone on the elements of Hip-Hop, as most people from this part of the world
believe it's just all about Rap music, which to a greater sense, Rap music is just
one of the numerous elements that make up Hip-Hop.
There's no better time to proffer solutions to the problems happening in the
community, than now.
